Kendrapara (Orissa), 30 (PTI) A college teacher, who tried to blow the lid off alleged examination evaluation irregularities in Kendrapara autonomous college in Orissa, has invited the wrath of college management.

Pradipta Kishore Das, a senior teacher of Political science department, is a broken man today as probe by state council of higher secondary education into the alleged examination improprieties moves at a snails pace."I came across serious breach of rules during 2010 annual plus two council examination. I drew the attention of college higher ups. But they dissuaded me from taking it up.Later I lodged written complaint with chairman, CHSE and commissioner-cum-secretary higher education department", he said. "I am paying the price for lodging complaint against irregularities. The authorities harassed and removed me from discharging the responsibilities of superintendent of college Womens hostel," Das said. "I was transferred to a remote Brahmani College at Dandisahi. As a duty-bound government servant, I joined there on September 10", he said. However, principal Kendrapara college Prafulla Kumar Mishra said "There were certain discrepancies. But it was done inadvertently. Later these were rectified. The conduct of 2010 annual CHSE examination has been done on a fair manner". "Das has never been harassed. His transfer has nothing to do with the allegation petition that he had levelled", he said."The matter is being probed by assistant controller of examination. If findings of the probe detects lapses, disciplinary action would be initiated against those in charge of annual exam conduct and valuation process", Nihar Ranjan Patnaik, Chairman, Chairman, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa, said.
