According to the New York Times, an ex Disney secretary, Bonnie Hoxie, 34, will be facing jail time after she was charged with conspiring with boyfriend Yonni Sebbag, 30, to sell financial secrets and documents.
It is reported that Hoxie and Sebagg sent out dozens of anonymous letters to investment companies, some of whom contacted the FBI. The letter stated the following: "Hi, I have access to DISNEY'S (DIS) quarterly earnings report before its release on 05/03/10," one of the letters said, according to prosecutors. "I am willing to share this information for a fee that we can determine later. I am sorry but I can't disclose my identity for confidentiality reasons but we can correspond by e-mail if you would like to discuss it."
Sebagg was arrested after he received $15,000.00 from two undercover agents for his information.
Sebagg pleaded guilty and will likely receive a sentence 27 to 33 months. Hoxie won't be sentenced until December 21.
