Forged or Manufactured Degrees
Being a HR professional in today’s business environment is not easy. Along with other challenges that come their way, the one at the core of their responsibilities is staffing. Finding the right person (with the right qualifications, skills and experience), to fill a vacancy in quick time, is always a tough ask.

Falsified Employment Details
There is no nice way to say this – but people lie on their résumés. Especially in areas they can get away with it. Previous experience is such an area and therefore a prime candidate for falsification and exaggeration. Job titles and responsibilities don’t mean the same thing from one company to another. In rare cases where they do match, the functions or level of reporting will differ.

In a clear illustration that you cannot be too careful comes a news report of a lady in California, USA who defrauded her boss of more than $1.6 million dollars. It took her just about six years to steal this amount. That works out to about $260,000 a year!
