| Fake Companies & Employment |
| |
Recruitment agencies are now hand-in-glove with candidates in falsifying facts to land plum
jobs.
|
| |
| BPOs are now increasingly looking at recruiting not absolute freshers but young graduates
with a few months or a couple of years of some professional experience. Recruitment agencies are now creating
fictitious companies with a valid address and telephone numbers. In connivance with the candidates recruitment
agencies issue fake letters of appointment and relieving letters from these fictitious companies. |
| |
| This arrangement provides leverage to both, the agency and the candidate. |
| |
| Aware of the screening process these ‘companies' provide near genuine appointment/ relieving
letters to the candidate and verify the employment details when contacted by background verifiers. |
| |
| Only a physical verification of the address reveals whether the company truly exists or not. |
