| Case 3
|
| Updated in November 2005 |
| |
This case is not so much of a
background check but rather a case of locating a missing
employee.
|
| |
A team was sent to the US for a
training program by a Gurgaon-based BPO. On completion,
the team returned to base barring three employees who
went missing and did not report to work.
|
| |
The company used internal resources
to locate them. Drawing a blank in their efforts, they
contacted AuthBridge Research Services for assistance.
|
| |
Locating two of the employees was
easy as they had taken up employment in BPO's based in
India. One individual was proving difficult to locate.
|
| |
The operations team brainstormed
their way into locating the third missing employee.
Between misleading reports of his presence in the
country, he was eventually found to be in US working in
a telecom company.
